This weeks Resource Roundup is centered on in-person student experiences that can help elevate their knowledge around a topic. AEM Educator Ambassador Anna Cazel asked for these opportunities as she loves to provide her students with real world applications whenever she can. You will find links to seven different Florida organizations that offer one day and multi day experiences. Of course there are a multitude of the opportunities available across Florida, and globally, from other organizations. If you would like ideas for opportunities to engage your students in field experience related to a topic, please reach to out our education coordinator, Kirstin Cowan. Field trips and summer camps help make learning more fun and concepts more memorable as they engage students in a variety of ways. This type of learning environment can lead to a more authentic exploration around topics that matter.
